Rise of the Ronin is Team Ninja’s newest title where it was supposed to be Nioh (a game known for its in-depth combat mechanics) into an open world. Released in March of this year, it did not achieve desirable reviews as achieved around 7/10 across all the major reviewers such as Metacritic, IGN and gamespot. A particular critic being the loss of the in-depth mechanics which Team Ninja’s Nioh games are famous for and are still today.Recently the developers have released the patch 1.05. This new patch has some healthy dose of new content and some bug fixes.
“Wake up Samurai we got factions to Slaughter”
There are 5 new Ally missions in the game for the Midnight difficulty, these missions focus on players to team up and improve the security of the local areas. The highlight mission is called “Path of Chaos” which is set so that with each playthrough of the mission there will be different enemies to encounter each time. One of the missions is called “Eternal Night” which Team Ninja is declaring to be their most difficult mission in this update. Making players repeatedly test their skills in this mission is no doubt Team Ninja’s goal.
