The Bose QuietComfort 45 or the QC45 is the latest edition to the Bose’s QuietComfort series, which is famous for its excellent noise cancellation feature and high-fidelity audio. Following the tradition of this successful series, the QC45 is designed to improve the user experience through new technologies and improved design solutions.

 Design and Comfort

The QuietComfort 45 has a design that is as expected from Bose headphones but with enhancements in terms of comfort and build. The headphones are made from quality material and have a light weight thus making them comfortable to use especially for long hours. The padding of the ear pads is made to be soft and conforming to the shape of the head so that pressure on the ears is reduced. The headband is fully adjustable and cushioned, which makes it easy for the users to find the right fit that makes the experience more comfortable.

 Noise Cancellation and Awareness Mode

One of the most obvious features of the QC45 is Bose’s Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) technology. The headphones are fitted with internal and external microphones that enable the headphones to constantly monitor the background noise and cancel it, thus giving a quiet experience. The noise cancellation feature can be set to different levels to accommodate different settings making the QC45 useful in both noisy and less noisy environments.

The Awareness Mode is another feature which allows users to remain vigilant to their environment while listening to audio content. This mode boosts external sounds and allow the users to hear important sounds in the environment without having to take off the headphones. This is especially helpful when one is on the move such as in the course of traveling to work or while walking in busy places.

 Audio Quality and Features

The Bose QuietComfort 45 is an excellent performer in terms of audio quality with a neutral sound signature that leans towards clear audio. The headphones offer a well-balanced sound profile with well-defined vocal and midrange frequencies and powerful bass. The QC45 also features Bluetooth 5. 1, thus avoiding frequent interruption of the wireless connection and low latency.

The headphones also have touch controls on the ear cups enabling the user to control the playback, volume and even answer or end a call. Further, the QC45 also has a long battery life and offers up to 24 hours of playback in a single charge. In addition, there is the advantage of the possibility of charging the device for only 15 minutes, which gives 3 extra hours of listening.
