Discover the Future with Ray-Ban | Meta Next-Generation Smart Glasses

We are extending the strength of our alliance by introducing the Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses collection, which combines renowned technology with classic style. Every function of the second generation of smart glasses has been improved and streamlined to allow users to connect and share without restriction. Reduced frame weight makes for comfortable, all-day wear.

We completely redesigned our next-generation glasses from the ground up, taking the time to learn about what people love and find most appealing about the product, such as its effortlessly cool form factor, hands-free convenience, and open-ear audio, as well as areas for improvement, such as comfort and media quality overall. All of the essential functions from the first generation have been enhanced, plus we’ve included a few brand-new features that have never been seen on a pair of smart glasses before.

What about Second Generation is new?

The smart glasses keep their original look while introducing two new models that offer more choices for your eyewear. With its sleek charging case, you may get up to 4 hours of battery life. Additionally, a portable charging case with up to eight charges is included, allowing you to go about your day uninterrupted. With 8 more charges from the case and 4 hours of battery life on full charge, you can get up to 36 hours.

Downloading the Meta View Companion App will help you get the most out of your new Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses. The app’s features include the ability to quickly share material with friends, pair numerous glasses to your phone, and access important functionality from the redesigned home tab.

Here are a few standouts

Better audio quality

Our brand-new, specially made speakers feature a greater maximum volume, a longer bass range, and better directional audio that reduces audio leakage for better calls, music, and podcasts—even in windy or noisy settings. Additionally, the newly built five-microphone array offers immersive audio recording, allowing you to capture sounds in front of you, from the sides, from the back, and even above, exactly as you experienced them when you were filming.

Give your perspective

Whether you’re living it up at an art exhibition or soaking in the spectacular views while hiking, a new ultra-wide 12 MP camera means better quality images and 1080p movies lasting up to 60 seconds. The proof of your adventures will be just as epic as the actual thing. With just a voice command to “send a photo,” you can even share images straight from your glasses to your friends and family.

Boost your power

The all-new Qualcomm Snapdragon AR1 Gen1 Platform powers the Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses, allowing for significantly quicker computation and better photo and video processing. Additionally, the glasses come with a sleek and redesigned charging case that is even smaller and slimmer and can contain up to eight extra charges, for a total of 36 hours of use.

The glance or glances

In addition to the classic Wayfarer style that you are already familiar with, the Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses now have a new Headliner design for a more retro aesthetic. Both styles are offered in Matte Black and Shiny Black. In addition, to highlight the technology within, we’re launching three new transparent frame colors: Rebel Black, Caramel, and Jeans. Additionally, you may mix and match to create your own unique pair of glasses on with over 150 customizable frame and lens combinations available on the Ray-Ban Remix platform. They are now compatible with prescription lenses as well.

Control and comfort

We made the glasses lighter and more comfortable by lowering their weight and reducing their overall profile in all directions. Additionally, the glasses now withstand water (IPX4). In order to make the glasses respond to your requests considerably faster and more consistently, we have upgraded the touchpad and incorporated interactive earcons.

Using your hands-free webcam

Now, you can broadcast live to Facebook or Instagram directly from the glasses. In order to interact with your community while you’re living in the moment, you can see the remarks in your preview or tap and hold the side of your glasses to hear them aloud.

Want to Change your Headphones?

One advantage of these glasses is that there’s no need to use the camera at all. They can also serve as a good substitute for your headphones. In contrast to the camera, the audio functions are controlled by the same apps as any other Bluetooth headset, with the exception of a built-in Spotify integration that you can turn on.

Just below the capture button on the right arm is a gesture control area where you can adjust the audio. The app has a variety of gestures, but the most common ones are sliding forward and back to adjust volume and touching once to pause or play audio. You can advance to the next track by tapping twice, and go back a track by tapping three times. You can play your automatically generated recommendations based on your preferences by tapping and holding when Spotify Tap is enabled. There’s also a little toggle on the left arm, right on the hinge, that allows you to turn off the camera’s power and Bluetooth connection.

The sound quality of podcasts and music is comparable to that of other smart eyewear. They don’t reproduce pounding bass as well as other open-ear headphones, but they outperform ambient modes in terms of assisting you in keeping situational awareness. On the other hand, noise-canceling headphones are far better at isolating outside sounds.
