 Sleep Tracking and Wellness

Apart from the Nest Hub (2nd Gen), there is another feature known as the Sleep Sensing which monitors your sleeping patterns without having to use any wearable device. It utilises Motion Sense technology from Google Soli radar to track your breathing and your movement during the night to help you understand the quality of your sleep. It became especially helpful to those who tend to have issues with their sleep and want to be healthier.

 Entertainment and Audio

It also stands out as a smart speaker and entertainment center to some extent with the Nest Hub (2nd Gen). It supports streaming from some of the most used services such as You tube, Netflix, Spotify among others. This makes the improved speaker to produce better sound with better bass response that is ideal for both music and podcasts. The display is ideal for video playback, cooking or even making video calls through Google Duo.

 Privacy and Security

Google has paid attention to privacy with the Nest Hub (2nd Gen). The clients also have the option of using a physical button to toggle the microphone off, and all data that is gathered by the Sleep Sensing feature is done locally on the device. Also, the users have the ability to control their data through the Google Home application which makes the whole process more transparent and secure.

 Pros:

The last feature of the ecosystem is the compatibility with smart home devices.

That is why the Sleep Sensing feature is perfect for tracking your wellness.

Improved audio performance

Small and fashionable design

 Cons:

There was no camera for video call.
