Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy Buds FE (Fan Edition) for the international market. Priced at approximately $100, these new true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds are among the most affordable offerings from the tech giant’s audio range.

Despite its pocket-friendly price, the Galaxy Buds FE boasts a slew of top-tier features. One of the standout capabilities is the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). Typically, ANC is reserved for pricier, high-end TWS earbuds, making its inclusion in the Buds FE quite noteworthy.

The packaging reflects Samsung’s commitment to a clean and minimalist design. The packaging, mainly in a clean white hue, showcases the earbuds on the front, highlighting their unique “wing” design at the top. Upon opening, users discover a comprehensive kit: the charging case, the earbuds themselves, two pairs of ear tips in various sizes for a custom fit, wing tips for added comfort, a USB-C to USB-C cable, and a concise quick start manual.

Design-wise, the Galaxy Buds FE retains the familiar aesthetic of the Galaxy Buds series. The case sports a compact, square design and houses the charging docks for the left and right earbuds. Weighing just 40 grams, the case is lightweight and portable, making it ideal for on-the-go users.

When it comes to connectivity, the Galaxy Buds FE can effortlessly pair with smartphones via Bluetooth 5.2. Opening the charging case prompts immediate detection by devices, with reviewers praising the seamless pairing with the Galaxy S23 Ultra and S23 FE.

Among its repertoire of features, the Galaxy Buds FE is also equipped with a Deep Neural Network (DNN) that leverages artificial intelligence (AI) technology. This feature is particularly useful in enhancing call quality by eliminating surrounding noise.

For those who prioritize audio quality, the earbuds also come with an enhanced bass response. According to Samsung, the Buds FE features a diaphragm that’s 5.5% larger than its predecessor, the Buds+. This translates to a more pronounced bass output, satisfying those who prefer a heavier bass in their music.

Furthermore, users can customize their listening experience via the Galaxy Wearable app. The app offers versatile settings to tweak the equalizer and ambient sound. The earbuds feature intuitive gesture controls, allowing effortless management of music playback, track selection, and volume adjustments.

They house a 60 mAh battery, offering 6 hours of playback with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) activated, and 8.5 hours when ANC is disabled. The accompanying charging case, equipped with a 479 mAh battery, extends the listening experience by an additional 21 hours with ANC and up to 30 hours without ANC.
