Introduction
The Arozzi Verona XL is an ideal gaming chair. How does this one compare to the others?
Through Arozzi I received two chairs, the Verona XL and Vernazza. This review will of course focus on the Verona XL. What options does it have and how does this chair score?

Unpacking
Through Arozzi I received two chairs, the Verona XL+ and Vernazza. This review will of course focus on the Verona XL.
The Verona XL+ can be ordered in different colors; black, white-black, red-black, and blue-black.
The Verona XL+ is also neatly packed, as we are used to from Arozzi.
I must confess that I think this is one of the ‘nicer’ feet for an office chair. Beautiful shape!
The backrest of the Verona XL+ is wider than what we are used to from the Verona XL, for example. The back and neck cushion can both be removed by easily unclipping them.
Because there is also a zipper in both cushions, they too can be easily (if ever needed) refilled.
The back of the Verona XL+ is depicted with the Arozzi logo. The white inlets look neat and do finish it off. 🙂
Arozzi also provides a nice package with the Verona XL+, including manuals and other information booklets, gas spring with the corresponding covers, gloves, cover caps for the sides of the chair, wheels, tilting mechanism, Allen Key and the pedals to move the chair.
At least the gloves are comfortable! 😀
Setting up the chair is done within minutes. The wheels are clicked into the base. You then place the gas spring in the base and the cover caps of the gas spring are placed over it.
As can be seen in this photo, the seat of the chair is wider than that of the Vernazza. The nice thing though, is that the legs also get support from outside to inside (as can be seen below left and right).
The armrests are also already attached to the Verona XL+ standard. The only thing that needs to be done is to loosen the 4 screws to be able to place the tilting mechanism.
There is still ‘some’ room to adjust the armrests slightly outwards, if necessary. Not much, unfortunately.
The armrests only can be adjusted up and down. These cannot be adjusted in multiple ways like the Vernazza.
The smaller lever at the bottom left allows the backrest to be tilted.
The mechanism can be screwed in within a few minutes with the Allen key. This can then be put on the base.
Also for the backrest, the screws must first be loosened with the supplied Allen key.
Tip of the week: put the backrest against a table for easy screwing.
The only thing that remains is to click on the covers and press the handles to the tilting mechanism.
The result there! A beautiful black and white Arozzi Verona XL+!
The chair can be set quite flat by the small lever on the right side. This makes it quite comfortable to lie on the chair.
However, there is also a possibility to tilt the chair. By which the seat can also be rotated several degrees.
Combined with an Arozzi Floormat this does look very cool!
Conclusion
The Arozzi Verona XL is a nice chair! Because of the wide seat, everyone can sit on it. I did not get the feeling of sitting on a wooden plank, even after a long day of work – while sitting on the chair.
The backrest provides a nice feeling. For example, where the Vernazza is a bit narrower, the Verona XL gives more space. That is why it’s called XL.
The nice thing about the Arozzi Vernazza is that the backrest and tilt mechanism makes it easy to adjust to your needs. If you are watching a movie during a break, you can simply tilt/lean back and leave the chair as it is. That really feels very relaxing.
Both the neck and back cushions provide enough support to also lie comfortably in the chair.
Fortunately, after sitting on the Arozzi Verona XL for a day, I didn’t have to walk away like Quasimodo. The backrest and side supports (for both the back and the legs) provide good support. The 1D armrests can go up/down and unfortunately no more than that. Somehow it is also understandable that an XL variant of the chair cannot tilt inwards either, because there may not be room for it. That would make the chair unnecessarily more expensive.
At about 280 euros, the chair comes in the price range in that of the other major brands. Yet the quality of both the material feels firmer than that of DXRacer, even though both seats are also equipped with PU leather. In any case, the Verona XL chairs provide enough support in the lower back and your neck. The advantage of this is that it can still be adjusted to your liking, so you can choose to remove a neck or back pillow.
The chair is of good quality and is also comfortable. Especially during long sessions! Still, the 280 euros (time of writing) feels like a reasonable investment. If you can get the chair for a few euros less, I would definitely recommend it. At 280 euros, the chair gets 4 out of 5 stars. If it becomes a bit cheaper, I would add another star!
